Ship Design
Initially providing ship and offshore engineering design services for HD Hyundai’s shipbuilding affiliates, HD Hyundai E&T has been expanding business into ship retrofitting and eco-friendly engine design. Furthermore, working alongside HD Hyundai Electric, we perform production design for electrical and electronic equipment essential across all stages of the power system from generation, transmission, distribution, to industrial machinery. We also drive product premiumization for HD Construction Equipment through new styling, advanced control system design, and operator-friendly design solutions.
Quality Assurance
Through international certifications and accumulated technical expertise, HD Hyundai E&T ensures precise quality inspections and strict schedule compliance, delivering exceptional customer experience. In this branch of our services, we are responsible for inspecting commercial ships, offshore structures, and special-purpose vessels, including FPSOs and naval ships built by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and HD Hyundai Samho. We also oversee quality inspections for external partner companies. More recently, we have broadened our scope to encompass construction equipment and engine components, as well as electrical and electronic equipment, further reinforcing our competitive edge.
