Engine Business
As a top global engine maker, HD Hyundai Marine Engine leverages its extensive experience to deliver one-stop services encompassing engine design, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales support, consistently exceeding customer expectations. In 2011, we set an industry record for reaching a cumulative production of 15 million horsepower and 1,000 units in large engines in the fastest period ever, while also becoming the first heavy industry company in Korea to localize dual-fuel engines for LNG carriers. Going a step further, as a leading player in the eco-friendly marine engine sector, we achieved the world’s first successful test run of an LPG dual-fuel engine and completed production of the ME-LGIP engine.
Turbocharger Business
Since 1986, HD Hyundai Marine Engine has domestically developed and produced turbochargers at our company-owned production plant dedicated to turbochargers. The facility boasts a fully integrated production system across precision casting, rotor machining, and assembly, delivering more than 20,000 units to shipyards across the globe. Building on these capabilities, we are actively expanding our business into parts, services, and gas turbine high-temperature components.
Parts and Service Business
HD Hyundai Marine Engine provides customers with OEM parts of proven quality and with exceptional service. With decades of accumulated technical expertise and production experience as a 2-stroke main engine manufacturer, we support timely quotation responses and parts delivery to our customers by packaging dock maintenance components and services. Moreover, we provide ongoing services for all engines we supply, including responsive technical support and crew training.
