HD Hyundai is stepping up to provide emergency relief assistance to Nepal, which has recently suffered significant damage from devastating floods. 

On Tuesday, September 1, HD Hyundai announced plans to deploy 20 mid-sized excavators and deliver essential relief supplies—including blankets, tableware, hygiene kits, and tarpaulins—to support recovery efforts in the flood-affected Bagmati Province of north-central Nepal. 

“We extend our deepest condolences to the people of Nepal who have been severely impacted by this disaster,” an official from HD Hyundai stated. “We hope this assistance provides some comfort and support to the affected residents, and we sincerely wish for a swift recovery and a return to their peaceful daily lives.”

HD Hyundai has a history of engaging in disaster relief initiatives globally. The company has previously supplied heavy machinery, personnel support, and financial donations to areas impacted by major natural disasters, including the 2023 earthquake in Türkiye, as well as earthquakes in Ecuador, typhoons in the Philippines, and floods in Brazil.
